Warsop All-Age needing repairs
published: Friday | May 2, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE sent the following letter to the Minister of Education:

Dear Mrs. Henry-Wilson:

I had to send you this personal letter, though it is a public outcry. This concerns the Warsop All-Age School in the parish of Trelawny. This school should not be opened for the new school year if it remains in this deplorable condition.

In this era of education being the driving force for progress, a sense of urgency and priority necessitates that this school in the hills of Trelawny be visited with a view to have corrective measures put in place.

Therefore, it is with confidence, Honourable Minister, that I call on you to effect the change by mobilising the relevant resources to expedite this process.

The community of Warsop All-Age School will be very grateful.

Looking forward to your prompt response.

I am, etc.,

FIONA T. GILLINGS,

Registered nurse and

concerned parent

Wilson Valley district

Warsop P.O., Trelawny
