Simply saying thanks

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I AM a former student of The Queen's School. I left sixth form in 2001 and have been living overseas ever since. I am writing to you because I am hoping my past English Literature teacher Mrs. Bryan will be reading this letter. I have been trying to get in contact with her since I have left Jamaica and I have yet to do so.
I do not have an e-mail address for the school and it's very hard to get in contact with her. Writing to you seems like another step in finding my past teacher. She has been such an inspiration to me in more ways than one that I want to personally say 'thank you' just so that she knows. I did gain something from her teachings.
