Shameful, inconsiderate situation!

THE EDITOR, Sir:
AM I being a simpleton to think that the rapid slide of the value of the Jamaican dollar is making it difficult for the Accountant-General's Department to honour its undertaking, in writing, to pay pensions to some retired persons overseas.
The Jamaican Consulate cannot help us if there is no action by the A-G's Department. Non-payments are for periods of six months or more, in some cases. This situation is shameful and inconsiderate.
