A TWELVE-COMPANY trade delegation comprising representatives of American food and beverage firms will be coming to Jamaica next week to forge business links with local importers, retailers, distributors, restaurateurs and hoteliers.

The companies are seeking to meet with local businesspersons over two days, June 9 and 10, during the holding of trade shows in Kingston and Montego Bay respectively. The visit of the US-Caribbean Trade Mission is being organized by the Office of Agricultural Affairs of the US Embassies in Kingston and Santo Domingo and the Caribbean Basin Agricultural Trade Office (CBATO) in Miami.

Businesspersons attending the session in Montego Bay will also get the chance to meet with potential business partners from the Dominican Republic and Haiti. From Jamaica, the US Trade Mission will visit several other countries in the region, including St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago and Antigua.
