SSP Adams should remain

THE EDITOR, Sir:
SIR, IT was with regret that I listened to the news of the disbanding of the CMU and the subsequent reassignment of SSP Reneto Adams and his charges, et al.
Constable Campbell was shot nine times in his chest and neck on Orange Street and his service revolver stolen last Saturday night. It is more than 48 hours since he was killed and I've not heard one of those 'concerned' people come out against the attack on a servant of the state, a man who pledged his life for our safety against those very same people that 'concerned' people are protecting, as well as the other four policemen that have been killed since the start of the year, just to name a few.
SSP Reneto Adams and his crew should remain to stamp out the bad 'weed' amongst ourselves so that Jamaica can reclaim her place as one of the safest place in the world.
