Motor vehicle collision claims man's life

A 27-YEAR-old man, who was involved in a motor vehicle collision on the Rose Hall main road, St. James, on Saturday, succumbed to his injuries in the Cornwall Regional Hospital, Tuesday.

The man, identified as Kevin Harwood, of Queens Gate, St. James, sustained multiple injuries, after the motorcar he was driving collided with another vehicle.

According to reports from
the St. James Constabulary Communication Network (CCN), Harwood was driving his Honda Accord motorcar, registered 5135 DX along the Rose Hall main road towards Montego Bay on Saturday when, on reaching the Ritz Carlton Hotel, he reportedly overtook a line of traffic and collided with a Toyota Corolla motor car registered 7902 BL.

He was taken to the hospital where he was admitted in an unconscious state and later succumbed to his injuries.
