Kudos to you, Radio Jamaica

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I WOULD like to be among the first to heartily congratulate that grand old lady of Jamaican radio for showing to all Jamaica what it means to be a truly caring corporate citizen.
Unfortunately, we live in a society where the tendency is for individuals to be selfish and care nothing for others who are not immediate family or close friends. Indeed, sometimes the very media who should be leading the way by lifting us all out of the doldrums, instead caters to this selfishness.
So it is more than gratifying to hear that RJR, arguably the most prosperous and a true leading light, donated the full cost of the DNA test to determine the true parentage of the controversial "Baby Pansy".
So kudos to you RJR for literally 'putting your money where your mouth is' and for revealing to all other corporate entities out there what it means to be a true corporate citizen. Keep it up, and may God continue to give you prosperity and lead you in many more years of service to the Jamaican nation.
