THE FOLLOWING is an open letter to the Mayor of Portmore:
I want to bring to the attention of the public AGAIN the deplorable condition of the canal which runs through the Bridgeport housing scheme in Portmore.
A section of this canal runs behind the Bridgeport Primary School at which my child is a student. My main concern is the swarms of mosquitoes that greet you every morning and evening. (We are now forced to greet them back).
This concern is shared by hundreds of parents whose child/children attend that institution. After umpteenth of years, when will the canal be cleaned? HELP!
