Improvement needed in Mathematics

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I READ Stephen Vasciannie's article with pride as a Kingston College old boy. I am worried about the de-emphasis on Maths that seems to have existed from the early 1980s.

No school should view its performance as adequate unless it can see an improvement in the numbers passing the pre-screening tests and ultimately the CXC Math exam.
