Churches, groups request waiver of Parish Council fees
MANDEVILLE, Manchester: CHURCHES AND other organisations requesting a waiver of fees payable to the Manchester Parish Council will have to prove to that body that there are good reasons why such fees should be waived.


Drought hits north east St Catherine
LINSTEAD, St. Catherine: BESIDES HAVING to deal with the usual lack of water in their communities, residents of north east St. Catherine now have to contend with a serious drought which has been affecting sections of the parish.


Standard & Poor's lowers Jamaica's rating
U.S. BASED Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said yesterday that it has lowered its long-term ratings and outlook on Jamaica.
