THE EDITOR, Sir:
I am a Jamaican athlete living and training in Europe and I would just like to say to Miss Lou, "I love you with all my heart".
I remember how much I used to sit before my television as a child watching you host "Ring Ding". I remember how children's eyes use to light up when you hugged them after their performances. My wish was to be on Ring Ding and experience that hug from you as my home was not a happy one.
I did get on Ring Ding however, with plans to sing and be hugged but I never got the chance to experience either. I was sad but I was glad that I got to see you in real life.
Now I have two children and wish they were exposed to a Ring Ding like Miss Lou's programme. Maybe all those tapes of the shows can be shown on the television stations in Jamaica and be available for purchasing. Thank you Miss Lou and God bless you always.
