Bravo Horace Williams
published: Saturday | August 2, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The former Mayor of Mandeville, Councillor Horace Williams is worthy of commendation for a job well done.

It is my belief that many of the citizens in and around Mandeville and I dare say, throughout the parish of Manchester would say nothing less.

Mr. Williams, you had a vision for sustainable development for the parish, you spoke about them on many occasions at your various speaking engagements and there is evidence of implementation.

I have found you to be an affable person to discourse with, regarding community problems and other matters and always willing to attend citizens' association meetings upon adequate notice.

Your service to your fellowmen will not go unnoticed, and so, I hope that you will not be listed in the category of those unsung heroes.

You deserve the bouquet now.

Faith is a remarkable word and that's why McArthur that famous soldier said - "I shall return".

I am, etc.,

E.N. PERKINS
