CONGRATULATIONS ON that heartwarming front-page photograph in Thursday's Gleaner, in which you represented your distinguished organisation for the well-deserved Prime Minister's Medal of Appreciation.

I was delighted to see that the generous Norma Brown-Bell and public-spirited Tony Laing were among those honoured. Congratulations to all recipients including the five Jamaican companies that received Awards for Services in Industry: McIntosh Bedding Company Ltd., Grace Kennedy and Co. Ltd., J. Wray and Nephew Ltd., and Pickapeppa Co. Ltd.

Long may you all continue to prosper in our beloved country.
