Who pays for 'terrorism'?
published: Monday | August 4, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THERE ARE not many Nelson Mandelas left around the world and when 9/11 occurred we knew that someone would have to pay for it, and so it appears that it was in this crucible of direct threat that the Tony Blair/George W. Bush bond was forged.

So whether weapons of mass destruction were found or not, the American government, having been given certain military intelligence, the decision was taken that someone would have to pay.

Hence the fires of hell and "bombstones", "Bus whacker" and all the modern weapons of mass destruction were rained down on the people of Iraq with "shock and awe".

Ancient buildings were destroyed, priceless art was lost, irreplaceable treasures were destroyed.

Who pays for 9/11? Iraq and Afghanistan?

I am, etc.,

VAL MORRIS
