Hutchinson poses questions on agriculture
published: Monday | August 4, 2003

MP for North West St. Elizabeth, J.C. Hutchinson, last week gave notice of his intention to ask Agriculture Minister, Roger Clarke, the following questions:

Will the Minister state:

a) How much money will be provided to J.A.S. for the implementation of the marketing system?

b) How much money will be provided for the running of this marketing system?

The Minister had stated from 1999 that the Ministry of Agriculture was going to implement this marketing system: Why has it been passed to the JAS?

Will the Minister state why the marketing system cannot be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, as was the original intent?

Will the Minister state the persons who will be members of the company to run this marketing organisation?

Will the Minister provide a detail account as to how this marketing system is going to be operated?
