MEMBERS OF the Caribbean Shipowners Association - CMA-CGM (Caribbean), Maersk Sealand, Seaboard Marine, Seafreight Line and ZIM-American Israeli Shipping Co.- that provide service between the United States and ports in Jamaica announce a General Rate Increase (GRI) effective Sunday, September 28, 2003 as follows:

Breakbulk: Per Ton US$ 3.00 WM
LCL - M - Per Cubic Foot US$ 0.075 (7.5 cents)
LCL - W - Per 100 Pounds US$ 0.15 (15 cents)
Vehicles: Each Unit US$ 25.00
The GRI applies to all tariff and service contract rates, southbound and northbound. GRI is not applicable to inter-port or inter-island shipments.
