Still in 'chains'

THE EDITOR, Sir:

IT IS quite clear from the negative comments on "Redemption Song", the sculpture created by Laura Facey Cooper, that a substantial percentage of Jamaicans have not emancipated themselves.

If this "masterpiece" was created by an American, European or anyone else, except a Jamaican, it would be treated as brilliant modern art.
