A barbaric practice
published: Wednesday | August 13, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

HOW COULD someone in Jamaica of all countries come up with the sick idea of sterilisation for women?

It seems that someone has a problem with an increase in the population. Is it that some people are to have kids and some not? How can we condemn slavemasters when parliamentarians are allowed to utter such sickening nonsense. We have always loved our freedom in Jamaica and will defend it to our death.

If that is the best solution members of both political parties can find for our damaged economy, we may as well do away with government altogether.

I am, etc.,
