Harassed 'to the max'
published: Friday | August 15, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I RECENTLY encouraged a family to take their annual vacation in Jamaica. They came back practically in tears as they were harrassed to the "max".

Not only were they forced to pay tips for basically everything but their children were offered drugs at every location they went. They say their tour bus stopped in the middle of the road and the guide demanded a tip for herself and the driver - their stories are nightmares -.

It is time we Jamaican stop destroying our country

I am, etc.,
