Lightning storm caused St Andrew blackout - JPSCo

A DISRUPTION in electricity service in a section of Hope Pastures, St. Andrew, yesterday evening was attributed by the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSCo) Limited to a lightning storm.

The light and power company said last night that a team of technicians was immediately dispatched to the area. When contacted about 8:30 p.m., the JPSCo told The Gleaner that service was restored.

There were no other reports of outages during the lightning storm.
