Disgusting ad

THE EDITOR, Sir:
TODAY I spent 12 minutes of my valuable time "on hold" to try and reach someone in the C&W advertising department. To no avail - "Please hold all our agents are busy" was the only monotonous response I received.
So I am writing to say that I feel the recent C&W advertisement (showing young people with their tongues sticking out) is in bad taste and quite disgusting. In the current national and international atmosphere of indiscipline and rudeness I would not have expected a national telephone company to highlight such crude expressions, particularly as their market is the very age bracket to whom we should be showing some good examples.
