Dear Miss East,

I HAVE read your letters on careers for the past two months now and as much as I read I would often try and do what seems best for me concerning jobs and producing the right 'résumé'. But to this day I'm unable to find a job or even to receive any response from any of the firms I've written to. I feel so tired to write and get no answer.

I am writing with the hope of getting some form of help.

Dear Reader:

In response to your letter please find enclosed the following suggestions. Delete your objective. It is not powerful enough to sell you.

Include your professional skills: Interpersonal and teamwork skills, managerial and supervisory skills, customer service and sales skills, quantitative skills within the body of your résumé under employment history. Listing what you have experienced and achieved in each position.
