Madam prosecutor?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

APART FROM my deep respect for the law I have had no training in law, yet at the same time, I like to feast my eyes on proceedings in the court room.

Now, instead of styling women clerk of the court "'Madam Clerk'. How about saying ­ 'Madam prosecutor'? The word "prosecutor, sounds much more meaningful than the word 'clerk'.

Law embodies not only power, it also embodies 'respect'.
