Sharon Walton
published: Monday | September 29, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

ON SEPTEMBER 25, I called the Collector of Taxes in Montego Bay to inquire if my TRN was ready. A lady answered the phone and told me to hold without even finding out how she could assist me. After holding for about 13 minutes, I called the office, while still on hold and explained to the operator that I was on hold for the past 16 minutes to the TRN department.

Thanks to the wonderful operator and another lady who came to my rescue, her name Sharon Walton, who assisted me and apologised for the poor customer service that was shown. Thank you so much, Sharon Walton, of the Collector of Taxes in Montego Bay for your professional service, hope others will follow your path.

I am, etc.,
