Fingerprint Act needs amendment
published: Wednesday | October 1, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE FINGERPRINT Act needs to be amended. Times have changed and the laws have to be changed to meet the times. The problem in Jamaica is that people misuse the words "human rights" for the wrong purpose.

There are criminals running around the island killing innocent people and then they get off free because of loopholes in the system.

The Fingerprint Act is outdated and needs to be amended. People who criticise the politicians for making the change need to wake up and be real.

I am, etc.,
