What about Portmore traffic?
published: Thursday | October 2, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAVE read all the letters and noted the complaints about the changes to the Spanish Town Bypass. What about the residents of Portmore? Most of the traffic congestion Portmore is now experiencing comes from Spanish Town.

I work in Independence City and I have to leave my home in Daytona at 6 a.m. to arrive at work by 7 a.m. Some mornings I am still late because I am trapped in Monza every morning because of the traffic coming from Spanish Town via Dunbeholden.

If it takes me so long to arrive at work, what about those people going into town? This is very frustrating and I wish someone would address the matter.

I am, etc.,
