THE EDITOR, Sir:
I WISH to express my sincere appreciation on behalf of my family and myself to the staff of the Bustamante Children Hospital, especially Ward 3, for the able way in which they accommodated and took care of my son during his illness.
My son was badly burnt on October 6, 2002 and was hospitalised. He was discharged on May 22 but still attending as an out-patient.
I wish to say special thanks to Dr. Bennett who was always there for him, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Logan, Sisters Patrick and Lorrimar, all the nurses, ancillary staff, laboratory technicians and all who played a part in my son's recovery.
I had many positive experiences at the hospital which out- weighed the negatives.
I truly want to thank you Ward 3 for you kindness, thoughtfulness and tolerance.
I hope you will continue to make the children feel at home. In doing this, it helps the children to get well.
