Unforgettable experience
published: Wednesday | October 8, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I HAD the joy and privilege of sharing in the 30th Anniversary Concert Season of the Carifolk Singers on September 19. This was indeed an evening of celebration. The mixture of music, song, dance and storyline enhanced by colourful and elegant costuming was for me an unforgettable experience. This was further enriched by the orchestral interlude.

I take this opportunity to publicly thank the Carifolk Singers for 30 years of giving back to their country and for the sound morals passed on to our youth in this year's concert season as they implored them to "TEP OVA MAKKA". This delivered by entertainers obviously lost in the joy of their delivery. For the future we look forward to being annually refreshed. Thank you again my friends. Best wishes.

I am, etc.,

ANGELA PENNANT
