THE EDITOR, Sir:
I AM perplexed by the continued ownership of Air Jamaica by Gordon 'Butch' Stewart.
The taxpayers of Jamaica subsidise this operation without any idea of the true nature of the business. How on earth is he making a profit and serving champagne when there is a downturn in the aviation business and in tourism?
Does Butch take all Jamaicans for fools? Or has the fact that he is making fools of the entire PNP administration from the Prime Minister, the National Security Minister, not to mention Omar Davies, given him the 'self-confidence' to continue conning the Jamaican public?
