'No reward to NTCS for shoddy work'
published: Wednesday | October 15, 2003
THE EDITOR, Sir:
THERE'S NO way that NTCS should be paid one red cent. They were the first to breach any contract they had with the Government by not providing a safe, noise-free and on-time transportation system, fit for humans to travel on. The buses were old and ramshackle, with crass drivers and conductors, loud music, and were often times filled to overflowing with passengers.
The drivers employed cared about nothing and nobody; it was all about making money and getting from one place to the next as fast as the overloaded bus and congested roads would allow.
There's no way that NTCS should be rewarded for poor, shoddy work, no way.
