Thank you, Grand Lido Negril

THE EDITOR, Sir:

PLEASE ALLOW me space in your newspaper to give a very big thank you to Grand Lido Negril. I had the good fortune to spend a weekend there and must sing the praises of the staff especially the very cordial general manager Mr. Bryan Drew.

The food was exceptional ,the entertainment especially the Jamaican and Cuban duo 'The Enchanted Duet' who performed a lively mix of Brazilian samba and North American blues on guitar and cello, was world class. The lovely masseuse Marcia, who encouraged me to have my massage in the gazebo on the beach where I was lulled by the waves gently lapping the sand, knew her craft.

But the thing that forced me to put pen to paper was the honesty of Ms. Rosetta Campbell who after I had checked out of my room searched for me to return a topaz ring that I really treasured that she found lying on the bedroom floor.

Yes, the warmth and honesty of the staff of Grande Lido Negril makes it truly outstanding. Thank you Grande Lido Negril.
