Not the right way, Rev Gordon
published: Wednesday | October 15, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

KINDLY ALLOW me space to respond to Rev. Gordon's statement Re: Teach your young people to be more tolerant towards gays and lesbians. We know we are approaching end times when the church, which should be promoting good values, is teaching us and especially our young to be more tolerant.

I was so shocked to read this article. Rev. Gordon are you saying because its more prevalent in schools even as early as prep school we should teach our young to be tolerant. This cannot be the right way to grow our future. Instead you the church and the rest of society should ensure we continue to preach what is right.

We all know what is right. It is for us to pray for homosexuals for them to turn to God. God is the only answer! Not making our children tolerant.

I am, etc.,
