The October 26 event at Melbourne Oval will see Robert Samuels' XI against Courtney Walsh's XI in the opening 35-overs contest after which an Entertainers side will go up against a Masters and Celebrities team in a 15-overs per side shoot-out.

The first match, which starts at 9:30 a.m., will see Walsh and Samuels joined by Curtly Ambrose, Desmond Haynes, Jimmy Adams, Floyd Reifer, all of whom have represented the West Indies at the Test level.

There will also be Kurt Wilkinson and Dwayne Smith from Barbados, locals Gareth Breese, David Bernard Jnr., Brenton Parchment, Shawn Findlay, Evon McInnis, Andrew Richardson and Matthew Sinclair.

Ricardo Powell, Daren Powell and Carlton Baugh Jnr. are on standby if they are not selected in the West Indies squad for the coming African tour.

MASTERS AND CELEBRITIES TEAM

Walsh, Peter Moses, Michael Bernard, Lyndel Wright and Maurice Foster are listed for the Masters and Celebrities team while Elephant Man, Wickerman, Wayne Marshall and Lexus are expected to turn for the Entertainers.

On the day there will also be a raffle and music.

Tickets cost $150 (ground); $300 (downstairs clubhouse) and $500 (upstairs clubhouse).
