Sex, sun and beach?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM a student now studying in Brazil. After being here for two years I have never really seen much on television about the Caribbean, not to mention my little Jamaica.

On the heels of the recent big spectacular in England, one of Brazil's largest media houses, BAND, has been presenting daily information about Jamaica. However, in my opinion, this is not the information we want to be sending to the outside world. The pictures being passed here on TV were shot in Hedonism III and Brazilians are being led to believe Jamaica is all about sex and nude beaches!

It is not that nude beaches are not here in Brazil as it is in Jamaica, but do we want a population of 174 million thinking we are all sex, sun and beach?
