Vineyard Town roads almost impassable
published: Wednesday | October 22, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WROTE a letter to you some time in July/August in relation to the "poor road conditions in Vineyard Town." I guess you would have thought that the matter would have been addressed by now (especially owing to the fact that Mrs. Henry-Wilson emailed me that same day the article appeared in The Gleaner indicating her intent to send me the correspondence between herself and the NWA). To date, I am still awaiting these correspondence.

I am very disturbed about this matter as the roads (especially Roachdale and King Edward), are now literally impassable. Again I am appealing to the MPs: If you cannot manage the affairs of the constituencies you rallied so much for, admit that you can't and let persons with the time take on the task!

It is our view that Mrs. Henry-Wilson does not realise the importance of this matter to us the citizens of Roachdale Avenue, King Edward Road/Avenue and Dorset Avenue.

I am etc.,

TAMEKA COOKE
