Marl Road community needs help
published: Monday | October 27, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM writing to remind those concerned about the seemingly forgotten Marl Road community. My concern is the disgraceful condition of the roa- oops! what used to be roads. These are in such a terrible state drivers are now taking to the sidew- er-what's left of the sidewalks.

So where does this leave us pedestrians, all dapperly dressed going about our business with nowhere to walk, and trying to accomplish this feat in the constant fear of being splashed from the numerous mud lakes that now exist where the roads used to be! In addition to this, the resultant dust hazard keeps us and our young ones at the doctor's office with sinus and other dust-related ailments.

The people in this community need someone to recognise our plight and have something done about it. This has gone on for too many years now and we have held out long enough from taking the only action that seems to get us any notice in this country. Someone please HELP!

I am, etc.,

ROADLESS
