A HEAD-ON collision involving a car and a truck has claimed three lives, all of whom were passengers in the car.
The accident at Spring Hill in Coral Springs, Trelawny, occurred while the driver was overtaking another vehicle while speeding down a hill, according to reports.
The fatalities include David Seaton, of Carey Park, driver employed to Western Parks and Market; Florentina Hall, of Jackson, employee of Starfish Hotel, and a man only known as 'Prentis', a book salesman from St. Ann.
COLLIDED HEAD-ON
Allegations are that the three were passengers in a Toyota Corolla motor car which was heading westward down the hill at Coral Springs. It overtook another car and collided head-on into a large truck coming in the opposite direction.
The three were rushed to the Falmouth Hospital where they were pronounced dead. The car driver survived and was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
Spring Hill was also the scene of the accident that claimed Reggae Boy, Stephen 'Shorty' Malcolm.
