THE EDITOR, Sir:
MY WIFE asked me where I would like to go for our anniversary in May. She mentioned several places, all of which we both liked. We thought it over, and then she mentioned Jamaica. We both instantly agreed this would be perfect. Perfect because you do not just chose a place for an anniversary lightly. This being our 25th. anniversary, it was even more important. How wonderful that we would spend our 25th year together in the other country we love.
Jamaica has, and will forever, have a special place in our hearts. It is where we nurtured our relationship from the beginning. We flew down on Air J. What a wonderful way to begin. Everything was perfect.
We, of course, returned to our beginnings in Jamaica. Hedonism II was were we started and it is as beautiful, well run and organised as ever. It is amazing how many friends we have there. How missed we truly were for the few years we had not been there. The entire staff is so helpful and genuinely friendly. They are like family to us.
This is where we decided to renew our marriage vows. How perfect it was. We could not have asked for more. Everything was 'No Problem'. The staff and Minister made us feel at home, making this a spectacular moment in our lives. The feeling of mutual love between the staff and guests continues all the time you are there. Right to the airport. We cannot remember a week of fun, games, excellent food, and relaxing time together better than this. Unless you count the last time we were there. Will we return?
I'll complete the reservations some time in the next couple of weeks. God bless all of you. Can't wait to come back 'Home to Jamaica'.
