Disrespect!

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I REFER to the full-page special advertisement feature of Supreme Ventures Ltd., which appeared on page D8 of The Gleaner of October 10, 2003. I was appalled by it as I believe that the reporter and/or Supreme Ventures ought to have ensured that the youngsters who were given the various scholarships were identified by name and not only the adults.

Surely, the function was being put on to honour the children and not exclusively to promote Supreme Ventures.
