Disruption for positive reaction?
published: Wednesday | November 12, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

THE SPEED at which the file of the Flankers incident reached the DPP has proven to the people of Jamaica that in order to have justice done swiftly, they have to resort to threatening or disrupting the tourism industry.

On the contrary, the Braeton incident which has been with the DPP for over a year, has finally been decided on recently. The difference between these two incidents are, the age of the men killed and people rioting and shouting for justice in Flankers.

Are the people in authority getting the message?

I am, etc.,
