St. Aubyn Bartlett questions Simpson Miller

DR. ST. Aubyn Bartlett, Opposition Member of Parliament for the St. Andrew eastern constituency, has served notice that he intends to pose the following questions to Portia Simpson Miller, Minister of Local Government and Community Development:

1. Is the Minister aware of the Papine market located in eastern St. Andrew?

2. Is the Minister aware that the general condition of this market are bordering on being unfit for the peddling of human food and wares?

3. Can the Minister say whether there are any plans for the refurbishment of this market?

4. If the answer to question number three is in the affirmative, will the Minister state how much funds will be made available, and when refurbishment will commence?
