Should we build another economy?
published: Tuesday | November 18, 2003

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I'M A Jamaican living in London for the past two years, and I'm quite disappointed that I've been unable to find any kind of job listings for Jamaicans overseas who want to return home. I've been working as a manager at a contact centre, which has been awarded European Call Centre of the Year 2003.

Clearly, after working with them for two years, I have learnt many aspects of the advertising industry, which makes my experience quite vital to certain industries back at home. I'd like to know, where does a Jamaican wanting to return home go, or do we just continue living overseas and increasing the economy of another country?

I am, etc.,
