MRS. ANNA Hamilton has been appointed director of sales and marketing of Seaboard Jamaica.
Mrs. Hamilton, who has worked with Seaboard Freight and Shipping as an account executive since 2000, succeeds Corah Ann Robertson-Sylvester, who recently assumed office as chief executive officer of Seaboard Jamaica.
Seaboard Jamaica is the local operations for Seaboard Marine, a leading carrier out of the United States and the Caribbean.
Prior to Seaboard, Mrs. Hamilton was the manager of Engineering Polymers Caribbean Limited. She holds a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the Long Island University in the United States. She is married and has one son, Justin.
Seaboard Marine has a twice-weekly service from South Florida to Kingston and Montego Bay, a weekly service from the North East United States, a weekly service from the Caribbean, a fortnightly service to Grand Cayman and most recently Seaboard Jamaica has become the agents for Europe West Indies Lines (EWL) that offers a weekly connection from Europe to Jamaica.
