Offended by sign

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I NOTICED, last night for the second time since this year, a sign outside the cinema in the heart of Cross Roads: 'Handicapped Entrance Only'.

I wondered if no one from the Disabilities Foundation has taken notice or was offended in any way. Having learnt the distinction between the two concepts, however, I think we could influence someone in authority to replace it with what is to be communicated: 'Entrance Reserved for the Disabled'.
