Freedom and homosexuality

THE EDITOR, Sir:

HOMOSEXUALS WILL not enjoy freedom until they are free on the inside.

Who is offering that inner-freedom? The so-called Christians and their god of fear? Our parents and siblings who, if they knew, would have wished that we were stillborn to hide the family shame? Our friends who, if they knew, would walk away from us? Our co-workers who would make the work place our first taste of hell?

Freedom is not free. Freedom will never be offered. The first step towards freedom is knowledge of self. Then join with others to share this knowledge of self. Then in the home, with friends and at work, give of your best at all times. This will create power and wealth thereby gaining respect in society. The result of this effort will be self-acceptance, self-love and freedom.
