Sandals policy is not illegal

THE EDITOR, Sir:
WHATEVER MAY be said of Sandals' policy of "heterosexuals only" it cannot be said to be unconstitutional. Matters are unconstitutional if they conflict with the constitution. Further constitutional actions are always against the State and not against a private entity, such as Sandals.
As far as I am aware there is no law prohibiting the Sandals policy. Their policy cannot therefore be termed illegal. In any event what is the great harm that is being done. Same sex couples have many other resorts beckoning them.
