John Paul Whyte

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I AM trying to locate my father John Paul Whyte. Son of William Whyte of Somerton, St. James and Bernice (Pat) Jones. My father's last known address is Kingston, Jamaica.

I also have two aunts living in Kingston: Margaret (Michelle) Browne, a retired school teacher from the State of Ohio, last known address Cherry Gardens, and Marie Latibeaudiere John-ston, last known address downtown Kingston.

My father has many brothers: James Jones, George Jones, Albert Jones, Louis Jones, Emile Jones, Frances Jones, Peter Jones, and David Jones. Their father was Richard Jones. He died in the late 1950s. Their mother is Bernice Jones who is still living and in her 90s.

Many years ago the Jones family lived in Alley, Lionel Town and Mitchell Town in Clarendon. Also the Jones family owned a small shop in uptown Kingston.
