Wilson Int'l signs three-year deal with SuperClubs hotels
published: Thursday | January 1, 2004

SPORTS GOODS manufacturers Wilson International recently entered into a three-year agreement with the SuperClubs chain of hotels worldwide.

The deal will provide professionals employed at the hotels with tennis gear and equipment.

During the launch held at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort and Golf Club in St. Ann, Wilson racquets, T-shirts and polo shirts, socks, tennis shoes and balls were handed over by John Ippolito, and the president of Sports International a member of the exclusive Wilson Advisory Staff.

Under the agreement, the resorts' guests will have access to a full line of demo racquets at each property. The package is valued at US$35,000 (J$2.1 million).

"Every six months, there will be a drop shipment of Wilson tennis gear and equipment to all SuperClubs hotels, and the gear that will be provided is the newest dry-fit line and the equipment is one of the most exclusive lines in the industry," Ippolito said.

Errol Hall, the hotel manager at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort and Golf Club, expressed pleasure at the partnership between Wilson Sporting Goods International and SuperClubs.

"We hope that the partnership formed will be a long-lasting and prosperous one because it will help to establish SuperClubs as a tennis resort and to make guests enjoy the game more," Hall said.
