The Lucea and Grange Hill roads

THE EDITOR, Sir:
IT IS with great distress that I am voicing my concerns on the poor condition of the road from Lucea to Grange Hill in Hanover. For years, the road has been littered with numerous potholes, some of which could be termed "mini pools". Over the years the only form of repairs that has been carried out is amateur patching by community members. This lasts about six months and the situation is back to square one, a waste of 'taxation', (collections are taken each time to buy the necessary cement to fill these holes).
Another grouse is the narrowness of the roads due to heavy overgrowth. The lives of small children and adult pedestrians alike are in constant danger with these speeding motorists trying to avoid potholes.
Where are our taxes going? How many times are we going to pay for the same thing? I suppose we are to accept it as the norm as the same thing seems to be happening in our governing system tricks, trials and
more errors. When will all this be corrected?
I am, etc.,
