36 horses culled from racing

THE JAMAICA Racing Commission (JRC) has reactivated its culling programme and in this vein, a total of 36 horses has been culled from racing effective December 31.

Horses eligible for calling are eight-year-olds and upwards which have not earned a purse in the 24-month period prior to December 31 of the year of culling and those of any age which are reported by the Commission's or track's veterinarians as being chronically lame and pose a threat to the safety of themselves, their riders and/or other horses and their riders in a race.

Horses culled will not be eilgible to enter or run in any race at the commencement of the new season of racing on January 1.

The full list of 'rejects' in alphabetical order is as follows:

Blue Balladier, Brave Dancer, Bright Victory, Bush Fire, Chimley Boy, Cracking Front, Cruise Control, Diamond Tracy, Double De Cash, Equalizeforme, French Chardonnay, High Profile, Little Giant, Macho, Magic Dancer, Nadi's Delight, Onamissionfromgod, Parvenu, Purple Rein, Radiant Bride, Real Fable, Remmington Express, Retrospect, Rocky Point Rocky, Running Wild, Scout Master, Skipper Way, Special Envoy, Speed Of Fire, Sporting Brave, Storm Gate, Tazzmarazz, Triple Nice, Twogentleforyou and Xena.
